1930s Orchid Pink Evening Gown – FOR THE TALL LADY

A rayon crepe evening dress in an orchid pink (slightly blue-pink) for the taller lady! This is cut on the straight rather than the bias, so not much give in most measurements, but definitely for someone tall. Front has ruched centre and V point under bust. Has an amazing back with four straps which come from the neck/shoulder strap to the V-shaped waist. Side placket with snap fasteners. Back of skirt has central seam and two diagonal seams which come towards a V around the bottom area, then out again towards side. Includes original belt. vintage bridesmaid dresses

Would make a stuning wedding, bridesmaid or evening gown for the vintage bride. Close up of bodice back (picture 3) probably best representation of colour, which was very hard to capture.

Garment measurements:
Bust: 38”, but maybe a little more room with the low back/straps.
Waist: 32”
Hip: 40 ½”
Length laid flat: 61” at front, longer at back as has slight train.
Belt end to end: 34 ¾”.Currently at 30 ½”, but snaps can be moved.
This is too long for me and I'm 6' in heels.

There are a number of tiny snags here and there. The most noticeable are at the back next to the diagonal seam towards the right side, below the hip area. One tiny bit of seam separation at back waist for ½”. I have cleaned this and it is ready to wear.
